What is the error in the following paragraph?

Advertisers use many tricks to get people to buy their products. Some people will buy anything that is on television. One such trick is called the bandwagon technique. It could also be called the "Everybody Else Is Doing It" technique. Simply put, advertisers show or tell you that numerous other people have already purchased the product.; Further, the people love it. If other people use and love the product, then so should you. When watching television or reading magazines and newspapers, keep your eye out for this trick of the trade.
