I think I would add up all the costs, then subtract that from 10,000.

Why should i multiply by 2 while the question state it is per journey please any more clarification.

To calculate the change Mrs. Ally was left with, you need to follow these steps:

1. Add up the cost of each item:
- 5 kg of rice: 5 kg * sh. 600/kg = sh. 3000
- 2 kg of meat: 2 kg * sh. 2000/kg = sh. 4000
- 2 heaps of onions: 2 heaps * sh. 150/heap = sh. 300
- 2 kg of sardines: 2 kg * sh. 700/kg = sh. 1400

2. Add up the total cost of the items:
- Total cost = sh. 3000 + sh. 4000 + sh. 300 + sh. 1400 = sh. 8700

3. Multiply the bus fare by the number of journeys:
- Bus fare = sh. 300 * 1 = sh. 300

4. Add the bus fare to the total cost:
- Total cost including bus fare = sh. 8700 + sh. 300 = sh. 9000

5. Subtract the total cost (including bus fare) from the initial amount Mrs. Ally had:
- Change = sh. 10,000 - sh. 9000 = sh. 1000

Therefore, Mrs. Ally was left with sh. 1000 in change after buying the items.
