What is viscosity
A textbook definition: the property of a fluid that determines its resistance to flow; a high viscosity means a high resistance to flow.
What does that mean? Based on internal friction, some fluids are less "runny" than others. Molasses is a very viscous fluid that has high internal friction and is not very runny. By comparison water has a low viscosity and flows easily.
