What is the surface area of the given figure?

Side: 26
Side: 28
Height: 10
Width: 36

a) 2,564cm^2
b) 2,276cm^2
c) 2,184cm^2
d)1,160cm^2

It’s A, 2,564

well what's the answer??

mr. orange juice is wrong. im not trying to be rude but i found out that the test is quite easy.

can't quite figure the kind of shape. some kind of prism?

If so, just find the area of the base and multiply by the height.

what was the answer I cant figure it out

do 36*26 for the area of the base. and then multiply the height.

ur welcome

why has no one said the answer

I meant base, base is 36.

My question had different numbers but the way of solving this is the same. Im am assuming your shape was a triangular prism with 2 right trangles and 3 rectangles.

To kinda do this step by step:
Find the area of the 2 triangles
Frind the area of the 3 rectangles
1. formula fo triangles- 1/2 x base x height
10 would be your height and I think 28 would be your base
(its hard to tell because we dont have a picture)
After your get the area for the triangle multiply it by 2 because you have 2 triangles
Make sure to write down the number
2. Find the area of each rectangle
notice that not all lengths and widths will be the same
Add all the areas to get your final answer.
On my test the base was 24 the height of the triangle was 10, the *back slant* was 26 and the "length" was 34. If your prism is how I described than the answer is 2,280 cm sqaured
I highly recommend learning the formulas or going back in the lesson and watching a video because this is def something you need to know

the height is 10
