Find the equation of the line

With a slope of (-1/3) that goes through the point (2, -4)

With a slope of 3 that goes through the point (-5, -1)

y=mx+b

(x,y)

You multiply x by m, the slope.
You get to y by adding b.

(2,-4)

You multiply 2 (x) by -1/3 (m), the slope.
You get to -4 (y) by adding -3.33 (b) = -10/3

Therefore, y=(-1/3)x-(10/3)

The next one is done the same way.
