1. If there were x male teachers, then we know that

f = m+4, so
(m + m+4) * 60 = 1200

2. 1200 /60= 20 teachers.
20/2=10.
there were 4 more female teachers so 10 plus 4 =14.
and 10-4=6.
so there were 6 male teachers.
