The original radius of a cone is quadrupled. Determine the simplified formula for the new SA of the cone
SA = 2πr(r+h)
now replace r with 4r an you have
2π(4r)(4r+h) = 8πr(4r+h)
Not sure just what your "simplified" formula is, but maybe this will help.
