I'm currently writing a presentation on Joe Foss, in my presentations are bullet points of accomplishments and his basic information. I was wondering how i would make the summary, would I use bullet points of the same information or would I write a paragraph for the summary?

A presentation? Using Powerpoint or a similar program?

If you've used bullet points earlier, then I'd use a paragraph for the summary.

Would it be a paragraph like "This concludes our presentation," and an overview on who he was and what he did? And yes, it's a google slide presentation.

It would be better to begin with “In conclusion, ... “ rather than a full sentence like that. And then, yes, an overview.

Right okay, thank you!

You're welcome!

When creating a summary for your presentation on Joe Foss, you have a couple of options. Both bullet points and a paragraph can be effective, depending on your preference and the overall structure of your presentation.

1. Bullet Points: If you have organized your presentation using bullet points for each accomplishment and basic information, you can utilize the same style for your summary. Summarize each key point in a concise and impactful manner. This approach allows the audience to quickly grasp the key highlights of Joe Foss's life and achievements.

Example:

- Decorated Marine Corps aviator and World War II fighter ace
- Served as the Governor of South Dakota
- Founder of the American Football League (AFL) and President of the National Rifle Association (NRA)
- Received numerous prestigious awards, including the Medal of Honor

2. Paragraph: If you prefer a more narrative approach, you can write a paragraph that provides an overview of Joe Foss's life and accomplishments. In this case, combine the essential details from each bullet point and craft a cohesive summary paragraph.

Example:

Joe Foss was an extraordinary individual who left an indelible mark on both military and civilian life. As a decorated Marine Corps aviator and World War II fighter ace, he demonstrated unparalleled bravery and skill. Joe's dedication to public service was evident as he went on to serve as the Governor of South Dakota, where he continued to make a positive impact on the lives of countless people. Beyond his political career, Joe Foss also played a significant role in the world of sports and advocacy. As the founder of the American Football League (AFL), he left a lasting legacy in the world of football. Joe's passion for firearms and preserving the rights of gun owners was exemplified during his tenure as the President of the National Rifle Association (NRA). For his exceptional contributions, Joe Foss received numerous awards, including the prestigious Medal of Honor.

Choose the approach that aligns best with your presentation style and the overall tone you wish to convey. Remember, the summary should provide a clear and concise overview of Joe Foss's accomplishments while engaging your audience.
