ok I got the first parts........I think:
2(5/3+3/4)-4/3
=2(1 2/3+3/4)-4/3
=2 (1 8/12+9/12)-4/3
=2(2 5/12)-4/3
Help plz I'm officially stuck........
the parentheses means that the 2 is distributed to both fractions
(2 * 5/3) + (2 + 3/4) - 4/3
10/3 + 6/4 - 4/3 = 6/3 + 6/4 = 2 + 3/2
