make the denominators the same 20 and 20. then multiply 1 by 5 and 2 by 4 5/20 and 8/20 then add 5 and 8 and you would get 13 so your answer is 13/20

Ms. Sue, I appreciate you looking after us kids, but some of us do t have the time to study or can't. School is really stressful, and it makes us all want to give up on everything. I appreciate if you wouldn't make us feel guilty. Kids are having hard times during 2020. Coming from a person that has diagnosed depression (me) I understand all the other kids who want to cheat because they don't want to try just like me. We are all having hard times.
