What types of objects are typically found in the tombs of Egyptian rulers?

A. commonplace items for everyday use
B. rare objects and books from foreign lands
C. only objects made of gold
D. colossal stone figures of threatening figures, such as lions, thought to ward off evil spirits**

Not sure what the answer is. The Art History class I take doesn't really give or tell us the answers in the lesson.

Nope. Neither of these. The ancient Egyptians put ordinary things in the tombs for the deceased to use in the Afterlife. There were a few gold things, but there was absolutely no room for huge stone figures.

It was A. Thanks for the help though

Or maybe C. because they are royal

Ok I change my answer again I think it Might be A.

You're welcome.

To determine the answer to this question, we can use logical reasoning and general knowledge about ancient Egyptian culture. Let's consider each option:

A. Commonplace items for everyday use: While some practical items like furniture or kitchenware might have been included in ancient Egyptian tombs, they generally contained more significant and symbolic objects related to the afterlife.

B. Rare objects and books from foreign lands: Although the ancient Egyptians had contact with other civilizations and engaged in trade, it is not common to find foreign objects or books in their tombs. They primarily focused on preserving and providing for the deceased ruler's needs in the afterlife.

C. Only objects made of gold: While gold was highly valued and often used in ancient Egyptian tombs, it is not accurate to say that the tomb objects were exclusively made of gold. Various materials like wood, stone, ceramics, and precious stones were also utilized.

D. Colossal stone figures of threatening figures, such as lions, thought to ward off evil spirits: This option aligns more closely with the typical objects found in the tombs of Egyptian rulers. The ancient Egyptians believed in the existence of evil spirits and negativities, and ancient Egyptian tombs often included protective statues or figures like lions, serpents, or sphinxes to ward off these forces.

Based on this analysis, option D appears to be the most accurate answer to the question. The objects typically found in the tombs of Egyptian rulers often included colossal stone figures of threatening figures, such as lions, thought to ward off evil spirits.
