Calculation Without Distribution
(Show all steps.)
Please help!!! i know how to do it with distribution, but i am not sure how to do without.

after a 20% discount, you would be paying 80% or .8

two ways:

1. .8(2.50+4.95+6.00)
= .8(13.45)
= 10.76

2.
.8(2.5) + .8(4.95) + .8(6.00)
= 2.00 + 3.96 + 4.8
= 10.76

-____- i just needed help.. not the answer.. Sorry if i sound rude

i know... ive calculated that and i am pretty sure it 2.69. am i correct?

Keep in mind that I calculated your cost for you, not how much you saved.

You will still have to do that calculation.
