I am an aspiring human rights advocate attending the University of Baltimore. I am an individual with many social and political concerns. I am invested in this because I believe…that regardless of individual’s sexual multiplicities and social identities, everyone deserves to be acknowledged, included, respected, and protected.

Although I am not part of the LGTQQ community, as an outsider, I personally know someone that this bill would relate to. People not in the LGTQQ community may not understand the political forces that impact people in the LGTQQ community and therefore may not fight for them because it does not directly impact them. I would like to propose a bill that would have an impact/effect on the LGTQQ community. My bill will fully recognize, include, respect, and protect them from unfair criminalization, homelessness, employment discrimination, health disparities, and homelessness and other factors that make LGTQQ vulnerable to the impact of inequality of all LGTQQ community. This bill is necessary for providing a safety measure for the LGTQQ community. This bill will lower the risk of homeless and suicide, many people of the LGTQQ community face a particular set of challenges, living in poorness becoming victims and, on top of that trying to avoid being on the streets at an early age.
