Yo recibí una cartera amarilla ( DOES A COMMA OR THE Y STAY HERE is it okay to have y and y again like and & and ) y perfume y una alarma para mi IPOD. Mi mamá y yo nos divertimos al ir de compras. Pasé tiempo también con mis amigos.

During the winter break I stayed at home. I spent time with my family. I studied for my final exams and worked on my extra credit. I had time to organize my room and clothes. I celebrated Chanukah with my mom and Christmas with my dad. We celebrated Chanukah for eight days. We lit the candles each night and received gifts. For Christmas we decorate a tree and celebrate for one day. I received a yellow wallet, perfume and an alarm clock for my IPOD. My mom and I had fun together shopping. I also spent time with my friends

Because the English says "I studied for MY exams" = para mis exámenes finales

En Chanukah nosotros celebramos = Because of the Spanish you didn't add that part to the English = On Chanukah we celebrated, etc.

decorate a tree and celebrate for one day = Because the Spanish is past tense, the English has to be also = decorated and celebrated.

When you make the corrections, you are not making ALL the corrections. If you number each correction I'm making for you, perhaps you won't keep missing so many of them.

Now look at the English among the Spanish! BAD BAD! = ( DOES A COMMA OR THE Y STAY HERE is it okay to have y and y again like and & and ) = get that out of the Spanish. To answer your question, just like in English, rather than saying X and Y and Z, delete the first "and" = X, Y and Z. The comma replaces it. That would mean your Spanish should now look like:
una cartera amarilla, perfume y una alarma, etc.

Rather than making only 1 or 2 corrections, reposting, having me reread what I've already reread several times, make ALL the corrections first and then you will only need to repost ONCE and I'll only have to reread it all ONE more time! Otherwise we both get confused because each time you either add or leave something out!

I don't mind rereading, but how many times has this been?

Sra

P.S. Just for fun, I went back and counted all the rereads I did = 7! That's excessive! :)

During the winter break, I stayed at home and spent time with my family. I took this opportunity to study for my final exams and work on my extra credit. I also had some free time to organize my room and sort out my clothes. It sounds like you had a great time celebrating both Chanukah and Christmas with your parents. During Chanukah, you celebrated for eight days and lit candles each night, receiving gifts as well. For Christmas, you decorated a tree and celebrated for a day. That's awesome that you received a yellow wallet, perfume, and an alarm clock for your IPOD as gifts. It must have been really fun going shopping with your mom too. It's important to spend time with friends as well, so I'm glad you were able to do that during your break.
