Write the equation of the line that has the following

I got that the slope was -1/2 but is the y-intercept really 15/2? can you even have this as a y intercept?
y-6 = -1/2 (x-3)
Clearly (0,15/2) fits the equation
15/2 is just a number, like any other. What bothers you about it?
