How to Graph

F(x)= -1 if x<-1
1-x if x>_-1

draw a horizontal line y = -1 , horizontal with 1 unit below the x-axis, to the left of x=-1.

draw a horizontal line y = +1, horizontal with 1 unit above the x-axis, from x=1 to the right.

you want to include the point (1,1) for the upper line, so you draw a solid dot at the beginning of that line

you want to exlude the point (-1,-1) so you draw an "open" dot, or a little open circle, at the end of the bottom line
