arrange from least to greatest 0,-2, 1/3, 0.3, 3, -1.5
What do you think?
I'll be glad to check your answer.
I think it 0, -2, -1.5, 1/3, 0.3, 3? Sorry if I'm wrong, I'm just confused.
1/3 = 0.33
So -- change 1/3 and 0.3 around.
Also -- 0 is more than -1.5
Thank you so much Ms. Sue! :)
You are very welcome, Rose.
To arrange the numbers from least to greatest, start by comparing each pair of numbers:
0 and -2: Since 0 is greater than -2, we keep the numbers in the same order.
Next, compare the rest of the numbers with -2:
1/3 and -2: Since 1/3 is greater than -2, we keep the numbers in the same order.
0.3 and -2: Since 0.3 is greater than -2, we keep the numbers in the same order.
3 and -2: Since 3 is greater than -2, we swap the positions of these numbers.
3 and 1/3: Since 3 is greater than 1/3, we keep the numbers in the same order.
Finally, compare the remaining numbers:
3 and -1.5: Since 3 is greater than -1.5, we swap the positions of these numbers.
The final arrangement from least to greatest is: -2, -1.5, 0, 0.3, 1/3, 3.
