A school paper I'm writing says I have to describe 2 reasons along with 2 examples why its important to have a code of ethics in anthology vs chemistry or physics.

Only think I am coming up with as to reasons is because anthropologists deal with people while the others don't. But no clue where to find examples?

in antropology, one is dealing with people, their outcomes, and lives. It is important not to be deceived, nor deceive the culture being studied.

Does your text address this issue?

I would suggest that one thing you might look at is a tendency by some people to "look down" on other societies, both in the past and the present. Just because a remote tribe in the Amazon rain forest is not technologically advanced does not mean it's "inferior", for example.

Here is a good article. I'll see what else I can find for you.

Thank you. The text book does not really address it, which is why I am confused lol

I hope these articles help clear up the confusion. :)

Thank you, I will be looking at them :)

Ok, so I am choosing to write about doing work anonymously and the example is Project Camelot.

For the second one I am thinking of objectivity but not sure what an example of that would be? I was thinking Vietnam war, because that was such violate time with such strong emotions on both sides. But I am not sure how to look it up and focus on the anthropology side of it. Any pointers?
