What does this Mean?
This question asks about your Independent Reading selection. You may use your reading selection to help you answer the question.
Compare and contrast your Independent Reading selection with one or two other selections you have read in this unit. Support your response with at least two pieces of evidence from your Independent Reading selection. Be sure to give the title and author of your selection.
1. Take a blank sheet of paper and put the title of your independent reading selection at the top of it.
2. Choose one other selection you have read in this unit. Make sure it's the same type of work as the selection you are using for #1. (That is, don't try comparing/contrasting a novel with a play, or a biography with a novel.) Take a second blank sheet of paper and put that title at the top.
3. List everything you can think of about each work on its appropriately titled page. Use the elements listed here -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plot_(narrative)#Freytag -- to get started. Also list the main characters and their traits.
