What is the difference between 'post' and 'upload'?

1. He posted a message to the bulletin board.
2. He posted some photos to the bulletin board.
3. He uploaded a message to the bulletin board.
4. He uploaded some photos to the bulletin board.
5. He posted a vod to the bulletin board.
6. He uploaded a vod to the bulletin board.

Can we use both 'upload' and 'post' in the sentences?

There's little difference between those two verbs' meanings in these particular sentences.

If one were uploading a program, however, or an update to a program, then "post" would not be used.
