How much SAT score will be needed to get a scholarship to a good engineering university in the USA?

I'm new to these things and hope someone will help,other than Google searching.

  1. The typical SAT score at Purdue is the new SAT score of 1300.

    You'd probably need a higher score for a scholarship.

  3. It says GPA= grade point average

    But for our local university entrance exams, we are studying Maths,Physics and Chemistry only.And the syllabuses may not be the same too.So how are we being compared? Do they conduct some kind of a placement test etc.when giving a scholarship?

  4. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of many criteria, including GPA, standardized test scores, and written essay. If your test score is lower than a university's standard, you probably wouldn't succeed there.
