I have met and heard of many inspirational people in my life. However, no one has inspired me more in my life than my father. He is apacible, cariñoso, confiable, and culto. Also, he is a man of strong character. My father is as dedicated as any other individual in the world. I decided to become a doctor after watching my father at his office. Since I was nine, I have watched my dad at his office during the summers. All of his patients have a lot of respect for him and say that I am lucky to have him as my father. It is amazing to see my father immediately detect his patients’ problems and diagnose them. My father is caring, hard-working, and respected. He leaves for work at seven in the morning and does not come back until seven at night. Additionally, he gets called to go to the hospital in the middle of the night without ever complaining.
My dad is also helpful in the community. He is always involved with charities and donates his time to others in need. Currently, my father helps out young students who are interested in the medical field. Students follow my father around for a day to get a glimpse of what being a doctor would be like. My dad has always encouraged me to help out others who are not as privileged as my family is.
It is through my father that I learned the value of education. When I was little he would read my books with me to make sure I understood what I was learning in my classes. He has always been available whenever I would need help in anything. Despite his busy schedule, he would always be there to watch my soccer and basketball games when I was little. When I become a father and a doctor, I would like to be exactly like him. If I could be as dedicated as my father is, I will surely lead a successful life. I hope to be caring, understanding, and respected. Also, I hope to be a person of good character.
