values and morals: I think that while most people are taught values and morals it's nearly impossible to say that everyone is taught values and morals. Many are taught, but never apply the principles; others unfortunately I think grow up without truly understanding the concepts. Some on the other hand aren't taught, but do learn the concepts some where along the way. Then there are those that are simply defiant and don't care to learn or apply despite society's best intentions.

need someone's thoughts on this please?

We'll be glad to comment on your thoughts after you post them.

that is my thoughts i just need someone to put their thoughts on it before i turn it in.

I agree with what you've posted.

It is indeed a complex topic, and there are different perspectives on the universal teaching and understanding of values and morals. While many people are indeed taught values and morals, it is true that not everyone applies these principles in their lives.

First, let's define values and morals. Values refer to the beliefs and principles that guide individuals in making decisions and determining what is right or wrong. Morals, on the other hand, are the standards of behavior that societies deem acceptable or unacceptable.

Now, let's explore the different scenarios you mentioned:

1. Some people are taught but don't apply: It is possible for individuals to be taught values and morals but fail to apply them consistently. This could be due to a variety of factors, such as personal circumstances, conflicting influences, or lack of understanding of the importance of these principles.

2. Some people grow up without understanding: It is unfortunate that some individuals may not fully grasp the concepts of values and morals during their upbringing. This can result from various reasons, including a lack of proper guidance or exposure to different value systems. However, it is worth noting that people can still learn and develop their understanding of values and morals later in life.

3. Some people learn along the way: It is not necessary to be explicitly taught values and morals from the beginning to understand and embody them. Some individuals may acquire these concepts through life experiences, interactions with others, or personal reflection. It is a continuous learning process that can happen at any stage of life.

4. Some people are defiant: There are individuals who may resist or reject societal values and morals regardless of being taught or exposed to them. These individuals may have their own set of beliefs or lack empathy towards others. It is important to recognize that not everyone will conform to societal expectations, and this can lead to conflicts or challenges in upholding shared values.

In conclusion, the teaching and understanding of values and morals can vary among individuals. While many are indeed taught, not everyone applies these principles, and some may grow up without fully grasping their importance. However, learning and development in this area can occur throughout life, and there will always be some individuals who choose to deviate from or disregard societal values.
