Hey Ms. Sue I feel ya, lots of cheaters on this website I understand, but sadly you can't do anything because from the beginning of time people always find a way to cheat the system and find loop-holes.

I agree that cheaters have always been with us. However, in my 32 years of teaching in a rural area, I saw very little deliberate cheating. As a board monitor and tutor, I can delete posts and ban those who try to cheat.

as was stated in an earlier post

we try to HELP with work, not do the work

if you need to post a question here, you should be learning something from the question

the heck

YEAH

heck yeah

I've observed that when I started teaching full time in the late 50s most of my college students did not try to cheat. As the years passed I saw more and more tries and in my last years in the mid 90s just before retirement I saw blatant tries. I still remember my last year in which to keep one young man from trying I had to stand by him while I scanned the classroom from that position. I had a colleague that made a note of the cheater as well as the person who was making it possible to cheat. When this colleague graded the papers, he graded each one, stapled the two exam papers together, added the scores of each and divided by 2 and placed that score on each of the papers at return time. When they complained he told them it was a case of each person contributing 1/2 the score. No one ever cheated in his class again.

Perfect effect of cheating! Thanks for posting it, DrBob222.
