The pressure of a sample of helium in a 3.35 L container is 0.988 atm. What is the new pressure if the sample is placed in a 2.94 L container?

asked by Brianna
  1. assuming a constant temperature,

PV = kT is constant. So, you want P such that

    P*2.94 = 0.988*3.35
