The sixth-grade art students are making a mosaic using tiles in the shape of right triangles. Each tile has leg measures of 3 centimeters and 5 centimeters. If there are 200 tiles in the mosaic, what is the area of the mosaic?

How do I set this up?

Thanks in advance

1500

the answer is 1500

i checked it 2 times it right

Area= Base*Height

A=(3*5)/2
A=15/2
A=7.5 sq. cm.
200*7.5=1500
Hope this helps

A = bh/2

A = (3 * 5)/2
A = 7.5 sq. cm.

200 * 7.5 = ?

This was really helpful

this my children is really helpful

its 1500 no cap

I don't know how to do this but this was helpful cuz I got the answersss! AYEEEEE

Thank You

the answer is 7.5 . There are 2 triangle shaped sides that meet that are each 3 centimeters and 5 centimeters long. The formula for finding the area of a triangle is A= 1/2 x bh (base times height). 5 is the base, so you set it up like this: 1/2 x 5 x 3. The answer to this formula is 7.5. There is your answer.
