how do u convert from ft^3 to Liters.

i know that 1 liter=1 dm^3, but i don't know where to go from here

1 (cubic foot) = 28.3168466 liters

1 cubic foot = 12*12*12*cubic inches
=1728 inches^3

but 1 inch = 2.54 cm
so 1 cubic inch would be 2.54^3 or 16.387064 cm^3
then 1 cubic foot = 1728*16.387064 cm^3
and since there are 1000 cm^3 in 1 litre, there would be 28.316847 litres in 1 cubic foot, as MattsRiceBowl stated correctly above.
