D? The 19th amendment deals with women's right to vote not being equal to men.

Embershy is right, as far as that goes. Actually, none of the above is really true. A few women were elected to public office, including a governor or two, so A is probably the best answer to be considered "correct".

The connexus SS tests are messed up. I agree with Reed, but I will post quiz answers soon.

The correct option is C) Women were able to achieve higher levels of education.

With the passage of the 19th Amendment, which granted women the right to vote in the United States in 1920, several new opportunities were won by women. While options A and B could be seen as indirect outcomes or possibilities resulting from women having the right to vote, option C directly addresses a significant change that occurred for women as a result of the 19th Amendment.

Before the amendment, women faced numerous barriers to education, including restricted access to universities and limited opportunities to pursue advanced degrees. However, after gaining the right to vote, more women began to pursue higher education. They were able to enroll in colleges and universities, and as women's education increased, they gained more influence in society and took on various professions.

It is important to note that option D, which states that women were considered equals to men, may not be entirely accurate. While the 19th Amendment was a significant milestone in women's rights, it did not automatically ensure complete gender equality. It was a foundational step toward women's empowerment, but achieving true equality required further efforts and continues to be a work in progress.

And here is Texas most famous Woman Governor, who pardoned 4000 prisoners (including some convicted of murder).
