please help with these 2 problems
a) 2/3x+1/6x=2
b) -2x-4<10
I will assume you meant (2/3)x+(1/6)x=2
then multiply each term by 6 to get
4x + x = 12
x = 12/5
-2x-4<10
-2x < 14
x > -7 , recall that if you divide or multiply by a negative, the inequality sign has to be reversed.
