I have to put two pieces of textual evidence in an essay from "Slow Dance Heartbreak Blues" by Arnold Adoff. I lost my book and I have been looking all over then internet for a quote or something but I can't find anything. Can someone please tell me just two pieces of textual evidence/quotes from the book? It can be anything from the book. Anything.

I don't have the book either.

Check your public library.

I don't know how you can lose a book unless you are very, very careless and dropped it in a mud puddle or left it on the bus - but...Ms. Sue is right, your library may have a copy. If not, you can purchase a new copy from wherever you got the one you say you lost, or order here:

You may also be able to borrow a copy from another student.

The thing is I need to get it done today because it is the last day of school in semester 1 and I can't go to the library because my mom won't take me and it is more than 30 minutes away. I didn't mean to lose it but we literally just moved this week and it must have been misplaced in a box. Trust me I would order it but, it won't come until a couple days. I am just trying to work with what I have by asking people on here.

Ugh! Sorry! I accidentally typed in the wrong username! It was accident. I know you guys like people to only have one name for posts.

this offers not much help http://storypath.upsem.edu/slow-dance-heart-break-blues/

Thanks everyone :)
