Ok, so I know the different kinds of forces (applied, normal, gravity, parellel, and friction). And I know how to sub in other numbers for those forces ( for example, Parallel force is equal to mass times gravity times sine theta). I also know the "base" equation (a=net force/acceleration). But I have NO CLUE how to know when to use what kinds of forces in the different problems and when to use addition or subtraction, and multiplication vs. division. I have absolutely no idea how to know when to do any of that, so I can't even start any of the problems, and I have a test on Tuesday...so if anyone can help, Please DO!! Thanks! :)
Can you give an example of a problem you can't figure out? It'll be much easier to help with a specific example of the kind of thing you're having trouble with.
