I am making a power point on automobiles in the new and progressive era. 3 slides are supposed to have information about the automobiles in them. Can someone help me find some good information? Everywhere I look isn't about automobiles, its just about the era.

Of course, I can help you find information about automobiles in the new and progressive era for your PowerPoint presentation. Here's what you can do:

1. Start by searching for specific keywords related to automobiles in the new and progressive era. You can use search engines like Google or Bing. For example, try using phrases like "automobiles in the new and progressive era" or "cars in the early 20th century."

2. Look for reliable sources such as academic journals, books, reputable news websites, and museums dedicated to automotive history. These sources are more likely to provide detailed information about the automobiles of that era. You can also try searching through digital archives or online libraries related to automobile history.

3. Narrow down your search by focusing on specific aspects of automobiles during that era, such as technological advancements, mass production, innovative designs, or popular car brands. This will help you find more specific and relevant information.

4. Explore websites or online databases dedicated to automobile history like the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) or The Henry Ford's online collections. These platforms often provide extensive information, images, and documents related to automobiles from different eras.

5. Once you have found relevant information, take notes on key details and compile them into your PowerPoint slides. Remember to properly cite your sources, including the author, publication date, and the source itself, to give credit to the original authors.

By following these steps, you should be able to find reliable and specific information about automobiles in the new and progressive era for your PowerPoint presentation. Good luck with your research!

Hmmmm. Have you tried to define the dates for those eras?

then google automobile "xxxxx"
where xxxx is the year, as in
automobile 1899

then click on IMAGES, or the descriptive web sites.

Yeah I find some stuff like that but not very much because I have to have the whole project only about the progressive era which is what, 1900-1930? What would be important information to include? Maybe like manufactures at the time?

Hmmm. I thought the progressive era was from early 1890s to 1920s, and that was what prompted me to suggest 1899.

Originally you said you needed "automobiles" in the Progressive Era and the New Era. I remember the New Era from 1920-1929.
So honestly, I don't know what you want.
Confirm the periods you want, then I would search google for those time frames (pick individual years) and things like automobiles, trains, telephones, houses, refrigerators, transportation, ships, dresses (or clothes), or such, somewhat the things you use each day in your own life.

So I would think the new and progressive era would be both of those like 1890-1930, would that make sense?

I would, yes. I would go with your notes or text on that.

Thanks
