lucy had 48 balloon for her berthday if 1/4 of the balloon are red 1/3 of then are blue and the rest are yellow how many yellow balloons did she have?

She has 20 yellow balloons. If 1/4 of them are red, that means 12 are red. then 1/3 are blue, which is 16. 12+16 is 28. So we can do 48-28 to get 20. Hope this helped.
