Which creatures live on the energy of the Sun?

Angel fish
Suquirrel fish
Sea urchins
Porcupine fish
Octopus

sea urchins feed on algae, which is dependent on sunshine for growth.

But the truth of it, all of those depends on sunshine in the food chain. If the sun went dark, all would die.

The creatures that live on the energy of the Sun are sea urchins and coral. They have a unique relationship with photosynthetic organisms known as zooxanthellae, which are tiny algae. These algae live within their tissues and can convert sunlight into energy through the process of photosynthesis.

To find the answer to this question, I analyzed the listed creatures and identified the ones that have a direct connection to solar energy. In this case, sea urchins rely on the energy produced by the Sun through photosynthesis performed by the zooxanthellae living inside them. The other listed creatures, such as the angel fish, squirrel fish, porcupine fish, and octopus, do not have this specific relationship with solar energy and therefore, do not primarily live on the energy of the Sun.
