the trouble with television Robert MacNeil voices a strong opinion about television in a paragraph explain his opinion then tell whether you agree or disagree with him support your view with at least two pieces of evidence from MacNeil's essay or from your own reading or experience.

"English teacher" sooooo fake first of all they didn't give any answers so what would you be marking wrong

Hey all.

MacNeil’s opinion was that television was a waste of time. He says that the only thing Americans do more than watch TV is work and sleep, and that there’s better things you could do.

You should say wether or not you agree with him using evidence.

OMG SOMEONE JUST GIVE THE ANSWER STOP MAKING A BIG DEAL AND JUST HELP US OUT

There is no right answer to an essay, and foremost it is a matter of opinion; the catch is that they want you to specifically use the text to explain your opinion. This is why I struggle with essays: My opinion on something does not change because I read a text, and more often than not it is contrary to the text's message.

My advice is to put everything else aside, look at the text, and imagine that Robert is talking directly to you about it. Think that he's trying to convince you and then listen to what he's saying.
It's a starting point, at least.

Omg!! just give the answer we don't have time for this you are the teacher.

the people above me are wack

just give us the answer OMFG /!!!!
