I am currently attending college but I recalled a couple days ago of my provincial English exam that I took in gr 12. I had wrote a beautiful story in the essay and I really wanted it back but I don't know if that is possible since we only got our percent results back, not the actual exam which makes sense for confidential reasons. But is it never going to be possible to receive exam back? or atleast just the story I wrote in it?

Contact the teacher or the school administration office and ask. The exam papers may have been destroyed by now, but it won't hurt to ask. You may wish to rewrite the story. Usually, a rewrite or revision is better than the first draft anyway. :)

ok thank you so much, yah I think the exam papers are probably destroyed but I was very proud of myself for writing a very good story. Ill try because it is worth a shot, otherwise I'll rewrite it :)

In general, once exams are submitted and graded, it is unlikely that students will receive their exams back. This policy is usually in place to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of the examination process. However, there are a few steps you can take to explore the possibility of obtaining your essay:

1. Contact your school or college: Reach out to your English teacher or any relevant authority at your institution. Inquire about their policies regarding exam retrieval and whether there are any exceptions for specific cases.

2. Review the exam guidelines: Check if the examination guidelines at your college or the provincial education body provide any information on exam retrieval or appeals process. Look for any specific guidelines regarding essay retrieval.

3. Appeal process: If you strongly believe that receiving your essay is important for your academic growth or personal reasons, consider appealing to your school or education board. Explain your situation and make a case for receiving your essay.

4. Engage with your teacher: Communicate with your English teacher and explain your desire to have your essay back. Share your reasons and discuss any potential alternatives, such as having a discussion about your essay or receiving feedback.

Remember, every educational institution has its own policies and procedures. It's important to directly contact your school or college to understand their specific rules and any potential options available to you.
