Zinc reacts with sulphur to form zinc sulphuric 16.2g.Sample of zinc is reacted with log of sulphur(Zn=65,S=32,o=16)

A)Write a chemical reaction for the reaction
b)Calculate the number of moles of zinc atoms that reacted.
c)Number of moles of sulphur atoms that reacted

Did you proof read your post? Probably not. The reaction produces ZnS which is zinc sulfide. (or sulphide). Do you intend to say that 16.2 g Zn reacts? I will assume so. So what is O at 16. Is this forming ZnS or ZnSO4. I will assume ZnS.

a. Zn + S ==> ZnS

b. mols Zn = 16.2/65 = ?

c. Using the coefficients in the balanced equation convert mols Zn to mols S. The equation shows that 1 mol Zn reacts with 1 mol S; therefore, mols Zn = mols S.
