2.Give an example of parallelism from “The Declaration of Independence”. What effect does it have on the document’s central idea?

Most of the Declaration has parallel structure.

Thank you if i have anymore questions ill come here!

Great! :-)

What would be a parallelism in the decoration of independence??

What do you think parallelism is?

Well in my book it is For for for for for that starts each sentence....

Please read the link I posted above.

i already have. i still dont understand it. ill send you what i wrote down

“He has refused” “He has forbidden” “He has refused” “He has called” “He has dissolved” “He has refused” “He has endeavored” “He has obstructed” “He has made” “He has erected” “He has kept” The long list of grievances reads like a hammers blow because of the parallel structure. “He has” been repeated countless times in the sentence.

That's right. That's an example of parallelism -- using the same or similar words over and over.

What is the main idea of the Declaration of Independence? How does this parallelism help emphasize that idea?
