a man jumps off of a cliff 12 feet above a lake. His jump takes him 4 3/4 feet under water. How far did his jump take him? I got 8 3/4
1 answer
Nope. 8 3/4 feet will take him less than half way from the cliff to the lake. You've left him dangling in mid air.
