Mathematics Calculus Infinite Series and Variables
I'm studying for a quiz on infinite series and convergence/divergence tests. I keep getting confused between the variables "k" and "n". What is the difference between the two?
IT depends. In most texts, k is the index, k=1 to something. That something is usually a variable n, to be determined by some test.
