It was a good book! Sal and Phoebe's mom both left, but Phoebe's mom came back and Sal's didn't. Phoebe has siblings. Sal is an only child. Sal went on a road trip, and Phoebe didn't. They were both desperate for answers.

well I only I have read a few chapters and so far its really good phoebe has a very wild imagination and Sal is more of a non imagitive girl. Sal is also a country girl and came from a farm but phoebe came from the city I would definitely recommend this book to many students and teachers hope this response helped :D

I've only read a few chapters buy I do know phoebe loves to imagine thing and Salamanca doesn't. Both their moms left.
