What are the pros and cons of donating to charity?

my opinion i could be wrong but the pros is helping others in need. By doing so you provide a good deed. Also put yourself in their shoes. As for the cons that sometimes individuals who aren't the needy take advantage of it and also those that are suppost to distribute the stuff you donate them they like it and keep it and don't give to the poor. As for another con is that sometimes you donate without receiving any money and once your gone they actually sell your stuff and make money even if its a dime from the poor.
