Look at problem 4. Suppose Leila moves her books

onto a bookshelf with 6 shelves. She puts an equal
number of books on each shelf. Describe what the
array for this problem looks like and write a
multiplication sentence.

This question is soo easy gosh the answer is that The array has 6 rows and 6 objects in each row. 6x6=36. Duhhh....Srsly im not trying to be mean just letting you know. :D

6 shelves

To describe the array for this problem, we can consider each shelf as a row and the number of books on each shelf as the columns. Since there are 6 shelves and an equal number of books on each shelf, we can represent the array with 6 rows and the same number of columns as the number of books on each shelf.

Let's say the number of books on each shelf is 'n'. The array can be represented as:

n n n n n n

To write a multiplication sentence for this, we need to determine the total number of books. Since there are 6 shelves and an equal number of books on each shelf, we can find the total number of books by multiplying the number of books on each shelf ('n') by the number of shelves (6).

The multiplication sentence will be: 6 x n = total number of books.
