Two cannonballs are shot in sequence from a can-non, into the air, with the same muzzle velocity, at the same launch angle. Based on their trajectory and range, how can you tell which one is made of leand and which one is made of wood. If the same cannonballs where launched in vacuum, what would the answer be?

Hey, why ask us? You know.

In a vacuum, there is no difference, mass does not enter the equations.

However if you include air drag, it is like you have a parachute attached. The lead ball will go further.
