  1. Online, “*” is used to indicate multiplication to avoid confusion with “x” as an unknown.

    8 * 5/6 = 40/6 = 20/3

    4 * 1/4 = 4/4 = 1

    110 * 21/66 = 2310/66 = 770/22 = 385/11 = 35
