  1. The fraction is not reduced to lowest terms. We can reduce this fraction to lowest
terms by dividing both the numerator and denominator by 9.

Why divide by 9? 9 is the Greatest Common Divisor (GCD)
or Greatest Common Factor (GCF) of the numbers 45 and 108.
So, this fraction reduced to lowest terms is 5/12

    answer is 5/12

  2. Try to think of factors that go into both of these numbers-- the one that I can think of is 9. Divide both of them by 9, or another factor, and that is your reduced fraction. Hope I helped!
