The word 'unique' doesn't need qualifiers, such as 'more' or 'most.' A person or thing is either unique (one of a kind) or not. No in-between!
The statement "Kyle is the most unique person Audrey has ever met" doesn't make sense because the word "unique" means one of a kind or unparalleled. By definition, something cannot be more or less unique. Unique is an absolute quality, so it doesn't make sense to compare one unique thing to another. If someone is truly unique, there is no basis for comparison. Therefore, Audrey's statement contradicts the meaning of the word "unique."
