gpa calculation

if i get A's in all my classes which are 4 credits, 3 credits, 3 credits, 1 credit, 1 credit and I get like a C in another 1 credit class, will this have an effect on my GPA...I'm at 3.7 right now and really tried to stay on deans list. :(
