I have got to write an essay on the topic "corruption is a curse" . can anybody please help me with some information?
First, of course, you need to be absolutely clear on what you mean by "corruption."

Then you should brainstorm different types of corruption that you see in your town or your county or your state or wherever. Make sure you narrow this down or you'll be writing a book.
Eventually, because you're writing an essay, not a book, you'll need to narrow your examples down to two or three. Basically, you're writing a definition essay (defining the term "corruption"), using the examples you decide on to prove that it's a "curse."
