If a gang of eight rob a bank, what percent of the loot belongs to three of the robbers? What percent belongs to them if two of the gang are killed? By what percent does each robber’s share increase?

You don't need to find difference for the last part of the question. All you have to do is (1/6)/(1/8)=1.(3)=133.(3)%, so the increase is 33.(3)%

how do u find out the percent of the robbers share increase ?!!!!!

SAME HERE

Thank you PenguinProjects, it's the right answer:

"You don't need to find difference for the last part of the question. All you have to do is (1/6)/(1/8)=1.(3)=133.(3)%, so the increase is 33.(3)%"

3 of 8 = 3/8 = .375 = 37.5%

t2o killed leaves 6 to share, so adjust the fraction.

then subtract to find the change.

how do you adjust the fraction?

to adjust the fraction all you have to do is make it 3/6 because now there are only 6 gang members

What's the difference then that's where I'm stuck

thx
